What is WWM?
When We Met is a guitar driven new wave, indie-electro rock duo based in Portland, Oregon.
Their sound has been compared to 90's indie rock and early 80's new wave bands such as, The Pixies, Sonic Youth, Modest Mouse, The B52's and DEVO.
After much consideration on how to bring their music to life live, Bryan and Melissa decided to use the assistance of their manikin head friend, Viola. Viola mans their one of a kind backtracks (music played & programed by When We Met), acting like a "DJ" of sorts. With WWM's secret weapon, Viola in tow, Bryan takes charge with his wild guitar riffs and Melissa lays down the bass, while both taking on vocal duties. Thus, When We Met delivers an electric, energetic and engaging performance!
WWM is currently working on a couple new EP's (acoustic and electric, oh my!), an epic Spring tour in 2019 and many other endeavors....
